CainXPii ransomware – What is it?
New variant of Hitler Ransomware has been unleashed, known as CainXPii ransomware which doesn't lock any files on the infected system instead it removes targeted extensions of files and make them corrupted so that you couldn't use them. As usual a ransom note appears on and display text message regarding paying ransom fee and getting corrupted files back. The con artist behind the ransomware demand 20 Euro to be paid via Vodafone Card or PaySafeCard within 1 hour in order to stop crashing your Windows system and getting back your files. You can not use Bitcoin account to pay them. The old version -Hitler ransomware used to use German language for the Ransom note but its new variant CainXPii use English language on both ransom note and ransom lock-screen wallpaper as follows:
